Black monday

Sembra incredibile pensare che siamo già a Novembre, soprattutto perché fuori ci sono delle giornate splendide come in primavera. Gli addobbi di Natale hanno già invaso le nostre vetrine e all'aperto abbiamo più di venti gradi. E mentre sciarpe e cappotti riposano placidamente nell'armadio ne ho approfittato per indossare questo blazer oversize di Pimkie sopra ad un maglioncino, a mo' di giaccone. Più passa il tempo e più mi rendo conto che potrei tranquillamente vivere di look black and white. A proposito di tempo che passa: tra pochi giorni sarà il mio compleanno! Non vi ammorberò con le mie paturnie di ormai ottuagenaria, né vi tediero coi miei desideri di compleanno. Mi limiterò a dirvi che, al solito, la mia wishlist è davvero mooolto lunga. Tornando al look, oltre al blazer, i pezzi forti sono le scarpe maschili e il cappello stile matador. Cosa ve ne pare?

It seems incredible to think we are in November, mainly because out there are beautiful spring days. The Christmas decorations have invaded our windows and outdoor we have more than twenty degrees. And while scarves and coats resting quietly in the closet I took the opportunity to wear this  oversize blazer on a sweater. I could easily live wearing black and white look. In addition to the blazer I wore comfortable men's shoes, and a matador style hat . What do you think about my look?

Florence

Yesterday I spent a wonderful day in Florence with my beloved boyfriend. Whether for a long holiday or a short trip, the important thing for me is to travel!

Ieri ho trascorso una giornata meravigliosa a Firenze con la mia amata metà. Io sono così: appena ne ho l'occasione adoro staccare la spina e partire, che sia per una lunga vacanza o una piccola gita, l'importante per me è viaggiare!

Venice

A few days ago I went to Venice with my boyfriend. I have been many times in this beautiful city but every time this place enchants me.
We stayed here for just one day but we still managed to visit Venice and two of its delightful islands: Murano and Burano, a special place with its lively colored houses.
The weather was mixed: it rained, but mostly it was a sunny day.
To this day I chose a  very simple and comfortable look, enlivened by the bright color of the jacket.

Qualche giorno fa sono andata a Venezia con la mia dolce metà. Sono stata diverse volte in questa splendida città ma ogni volta rimango incantata dalla sua magia.
La nostra è stata solo una piccola gita, ma siamo comunque riusciti a fare un giro per Venezia e a visitare due delle sue deliziose isolette: Murano e soprattutto Burano. Un vero gioiellino che colpisce già da lontano, grazie  alle sue allegre case variopinte.
Il tempo è stato variabile ma nonostante non sia mancata la pioggia, per lo più è stato sereno.
Per questa giornata ho scelto un look comodo e molto semplice, vivacizzato dal colore acceso della giacca.

Back to black

In winter or summer, I think that black is always a good idea. This color helps you feel elegant and tidy without any effort and look thinner and taller, and if you like me are not tall, it never hurts.

Che sia inverno o piena estate, trovo che il nero sia sempre un'ottima idea. Questo colore ti permette di sentirti elegante e in ordine senza il minimo sforzo e di snellire e allungare la figura. Il che, se come me siete alte un metro e un barattolo, non guasta mai.

Flowered skirt

Una giornata di sole, una gonna a fiori e la primavera sembra già dietro l'angolo!
In verità le giornate sono ancora freddine e non riesco proprio a separarmi da sciarpa e cappotto. Siamo ufficialmente entrati in quel periodo dell'anno in cui, quando vado a fare shopping, mi sento combattuta tra l'acquistare le nuove splendide collezioni primaverili e il buttarmi sui pezzi invernali in sconto. Ahimè, sono problemi :) Ma bando alle chiacchiere, quando ho visto questa gonnellina da Bershka ho pensato che fosse il giusto compromesso tra le due cose: i fiori, la lunghezza primaverile e, allo stesso tempo, i toni di fondo ancora invernali.

A sunny day, a flowered skirt and the Spring seems just around the corner!
Truly the days are still cold and I just can not separate myself from scarf and coat. We officially entered at that time of  the year, when I go shopping and I feel torn between buying new splendid spring's collections  and throw myself on winter's sales. Unfortunately, these are problems :) But no more talk: when I saw this skirt from Bershka I thought it was the perfect compromise between two things: the flowers and the length of the spring but at the same time, the winter's tones.

Black faux fur coat

Il Natale è passato e con lui le grandi abbuffate delle feste e il tanto atteso scambio di regali. Io ho passato questi giorni in famiglia e non sarebbero potuti andare meglio. 

Vi mostrerò cosa ho ricevuto nei prossimi post. Per ora, invece, voglio condividere con voi due acquisti che giacevano nel mio armadio da almeno un mese: questa calda e morbidissima giacca di (eco) pelliccia e queste scarpe nere di Bershka, ispirate alle famose Dr. Martens basse.

Christmas is gone, again this year, and with it the big eat and the long-awaited exchange of gifts. I've spent this time with my family and these days could not have gone better.

I'll show you what I received in the next post. For now, however, I want to share with you two purchases that were lying in my closet by at least one month: this warm and extremely soft jacket (faux) fur and these black shoes Bershka, inspired to the famous Dr. Martens.

Striped sweater

Oggi vi mostro un look semplicissimo: uno di quelli  adatti ad un "pranzetto" in famiglia o ad una passeggiata nel verde, in cui la cosa più importante è, almeno per me,  la comodità. Ho scelto di non mettere i tacchi e lasciare il posto a scarpe basse, pantaloni elasticizzati e un maglioncino allegro.

Today I show you a very easy look: one of those suitable for a family lunch, or a nice walk in the countryside, where I think the most important thing is comfort. I chose to wear flat shoes instead of heels, stretch pants and a cheerful striped sweater.

Denim overall

L'ultima volta che ho indossato una salopette di jeans avevo circa diciotto anni. Ne possedevo una larga, larghissima e la portavo con un top minuscolo e un paio di sneakers. Da quel momento in poi, questo capo, è sparito da qualche parte, nei meandri del mio armadio e io me ne sono dimenticata. Finché, qualche tempo fa, la salopette - o 'overall', per dirla all'inglese - è tornata prepotentemente alla riscossa, invadendo i negozi in milioni di varianti: jeans, pelle, corta, lunga, larga, stretta... insomma, avete afferrato. Io personalmente, non l'ho considerata più di tanto, pensando che per via della mia bassezza altezza mi rendesse goffa  come il Gabibbo. Quando invece ho trovato questa, in versione skinny, è scattato l'amore!

The last time I wore a denim overalls I was about eighteen. I I had a  large, very large model, and I was wearing a small top and a pair of sneakers. From that moment on, this suit, it disappeared somewhere in the depths of my closet and I forgot it. Until some time ago, overalls, came back strongly to the rescue, invading stores in millions of models: jeans, leather, short, long, wide, skinny... I have not seen it that much, thinking that because of my height it made ​​me clumsy like Gabibbo. But when I found this, in a skinny version, it was love!

Longuette skirt

Oggi voglio condividere con voi il look che ho indossato in questa bella domenica di sole.
Per realizzarlo sono partita da questa gonna longuette plissettata, che poi gonna non è, dal momento che si tratta di un abitino.

Houndstooth cardigan

Domenica di sole!! Non ricordo l'ultimo anno in cui abbiamo avuto un Ottobre tanto bello. Ho passato questa giornata praticamente in canottiera, ma quando il sole ha iniziato a scendere, ne ho approfittato per sfoggiare questo bel cardigan pied de poule.

Sunny Sunday!! I don't remember the last year that we had so beautiful weather in October.  I spent this afternoon with a top but when the sun began to set, I wore this beautiful houndstooth cardigan.

Burgundy hat

Nonostante Zara sia sempre nel mio cuore, sto cominciando a diventare Pimkie dipendente. Mi piace questa catena perché unisce collezioni all'ultima moda, prezzi abbordabili e saldi fuori stagione. Proprio in questo periodo, nei negozi e sul sito, è presente una selezione di articoli scontati del 40%! Il look che sto per mostrarvi comprende due dei miei ultimi acquisti super low cost: un paio di décolleté ed un cappello, entrambi nello splendido color burgundy.

The look I'm going to show you, includes two of my super low cost recent purchases : a pair of court shoes and a hat, both in the beautiful burgundy color.

Jacquard skirt

Vi avevo già mostrato questa gonna in uno dei miei post sugli acquisti fatti durante i saldi (Ve lo siete perso? Eccolo qui), ma ancora non avevo trovato l'occasione per indossarla e fotografarla.
Si tratta senza dubbio di una gonna un po' particolare, sia per il taglio sia per la fantasia, e proprio per questo ho deciso di abbinarci il classico dei classici: una camicia bianca.

It is without doubt a particular skirt and for this reason I decided to combine it a great classic: a white shirt.

Polka dots and stripes. I love this mix! The classic black and white is very well suited to this mix of prints, but also with the colors, the result is surprising! 

Pois e strisce. Amo questo abbinamento. Il classico black and white si presta benissimo a questo mix di stampe, ma trovo che anche con i colori il risultato possa essere sorprendente!

Pajama pants

The last time I wrote a post was April! I would love to post and visit your beautiful blog more often. I happen to think of any look, and also to wear it, and don't have time to take pictures and to prepare a new post. University and work are absorbing all my energy but then I miss you, and so I return. Again! :) 

L'ultima volta che ho scritto un post era aprile! Mi piacerebbe molto poter pubblicare e visitare i vostri bei blog un po' più spesso. Mi succede di pensare a qualche look - di indossarlo anche - e di non avere il tempo per scattare le foto e preparare un nuovo post. L'università e il lavoro assorbono tutte le mie energie ma poi mi mancate e così quando posso ritorno. Di nuovo! :)

Funny t-shirt

I don't iron, I don't wash, I don't cook, I do only shopping. When I saw this funny t-shirt I knew it was made ​​for me ;) During this period, in truth, things to do are numerous and often I can't write on my blog or come to see yours. Today, however, I took some photos to share with you this new look. I hope you enjoy it! 

Io non stiro, non lavo, non cucino, faccio solo shopping. Colorful!

La primavera si avvicina e le giornate stanno diventando sempre più belle. Non vedo l'ora di tirare fuori dall'armadio vestiti, shorts e ballerine, ma in attesa del caldo mi consolo con un look pieno di colore.
L'indiscusso protagonista è questo pantalone di Zara (Amo i saldi!), con la sua fantasia che fa pensare subito alla bella stagione. Vi piace?

Studded shoulder cardigan

Ecco un altro dei capi che sono riuscita a comprare, per un prezzo irrisorio, durante i saldi. Questo maxi cardigan, reso particolare dalle borchie sulle spalle, è perfetto sia sui pantaloni sia sui vestiti. Viste le temperature miti di questa bella domenica, io l'ho usato per sostituire il cappotto e aggiungere un tocco grintoso al look black and white che ho scelto.

Here's another of the clothes bought for a small price during the sales. This maxi cardigan, particular thanks to the studs on the shoulders, it's perfect with pants or dresses. Due to the mild temperatures of this beautiful Sunday, I used it to replace the coat and to add an aggressive touch to the black and white look that I chose.
